How current is the tender data on iBid.Win, and what does a visitor see?
iBid.Win keeps its own mirror of GeM and refreshes it about every fifteen minutes, so a live bid appears here shortly after publication and its closing date follows corrigendum extensions. A signed-out visitor sees each bid's buyer, category, dates, EMD and description; the GeM bid number, the documents and the buyer contact open with a free account while a bid is live, and closed bids become fully public after a set period.
Where the data comes from
- A mirror of the Government e-Marketplace, refreshed on a short cycle, holding every live bid and a rolling record of closed ones.
- Fields the source does not carry are shown as not available, never guessed. The official portal is the authority on every date and amount.
- Counts on the ministry, state and category pages are computed from the mirror and dated.
What is open to everyone
- The live list and every bid's page: buyer, category, dates, EMD, description, whether it goes to reverse auction.
- Closed bids as a public record of what was tendered, by whom, and when it closed.
What a free account adds
- The GeM bid number and the link to the bid on GeM.
- The bid's documents, and questions answered from their text.
- Saved filters with alerts, and a workspace to track the bids you work.
What the platform is not
It is not GeM, not a government body, and not a bidding agent. It never charges for a document the issuing portal gives away free, and it says so on its disclaimer.

The mirror refreshes on a cycle of about fifteen minutes; a bid published moments ago appears on the next cycle.
Why is the bid number hidden?
While a bid is live the number, the documents and the buyer contact open with a free account. Everything needed to decide whether the bid is for you is visible without one.
Is the data licensed from GeM?
GeM bids are public documents. The platform mirrors public pages and states its data policy on the disclaimer page.
